Hello,
My name is Alun and I am currently a full time student MBA at Manchester Business School. Prior to this, I spent 12 years working in the media and advertising industry with a brief interregnum which I spent teaching English in Osaka, Japan. My major goal for the MBA is hopefully to secure a role at the end of it where I can be fully involved in business strategy & negotiations – the two favourite elements of my current job – although I expect I will change my mind on this many times during the duration of the course.
Outside of my working life I have a young family (a daughter of three and a two month old son) which is bound to make the hard-core environment of the MBA even more testing! My major passions outside of this are travel – I’ve visited over 60 countries and just love pitching up in a new place with no accommodation booked and seeing what happens – photography (check out some of my travel photos) and sport, mainly football, cricket and rugby although I dabble in racket sports like squash & badminton.
It is an honour for me to have you as classmate, Alun. I respect the ideas you share whenever we have the same lectures (I’m on section A).

I had few interactions with you in various MBA forums. It is quite a coincidence that we have many things in common. I too with 2 kids and coming from a proven career. Traveling, photography, Retail are my love too ..)
